Are there any benchmarks on how fast ovens heat up?

I did a bit of searching online and came up with nothing.

The reason I pose this question is that I recently purchased a Wolf 30″ Dual Fuel Range (Model DF304) and the oven takes much longer than our old cheapo range to heat up. For instance, it takes 15 minutes to get to 350 degrees (starting at room temperature) and another 5 1/2 minutes to get to 425.

21 1/2 minutes to warm up a high-perfomance range?

Is this normal?

Am I overly impatient?

Located at 46 Maine St (down at the end of town where the old mill is) the restaurant has apparently just changed hands, but the food is just as good as when we ate there with the former proprietors. The new fellow even gave us some tasty lentil soup (gratis) to warm us up from the cold day.

Yummy.

The only adverse change is the loss of all the cool pictures of the The Golden Temple at Amritsar that used to adorn the place.

06/2005 UPDATE: They now have a website: sherepunjabmaine.com

Tried a new Chinese restaurant recently in Portland (maine) at the advice of the Portland Phoenix called Stir Crazy. It is at 579 Congress St. near the Portland Museum of Art. While I will not belabor addressing all of the positive things that were said in the review, I will sum up our meal as plainly as I can: dissapointing. My fellow diner ordered one chicken dish – another showed up. My veggy mu-shi was serviceable but not any sort of fresh as had been raved about in the review. Stricktly 2nd rate strip mall food. The ambiance was over-lit flourescent, and the drop ceilings were scruffy. Too bad, as it is in a terric location. Portland deseves better Chinese food.

P.S. mainetoday also gave it a positive review. I respectfully disagree with them as well.
