Joyce,
They may stay there, if it is hospitable.
Best find someone who can help you get them out (you certainly don't want to kill them in there)

This is the second summer that honey bees from the blueberry fields have decided to come live between my enclosed porch and house. There is a one inch opening there. I noticed yesturday honey bees very active in that area, coming and going. I have a friend who is very excited about retreiving the bees but he is not a carpenter and I am reluctant to have him do too much demolition to get to the bees. I absolutely want to save the bees even if they just stay where they are. They may just move on soon. This could be a temporary home for them, right?
Peace,
Joyce

Hi Everyone,
Its so neat collecting bees and comb from a hidden location on a home! You don't know what your getting into until you open things up and surprise! My first removal was on a co-workers home down near the foundation, between the floor joists. He said that they have only been there for maybe 3-weeks. Once I opened thing up I wished that I had brought a deep hive body to put them into instead of a nuc box. They had 10- 16'' long combs that I held into empty frames with fishing string. You'll have to let us know how the little hive does? Good job!
